W3 awards for Totem website
With last year’s re-branding project we went from Redwood to Totem in what seemed like the blink of an eye, but which in fact took over a year of self-analysis, soul searching and perhaps a little therapy. That work, in turn, informed the new website we launched to reflect the new “us.”
It was a first for our team, to design a complete website from the ground up, managing every bit of the project every step of the way. We challenged ourselves to innovate, but not alienate. The website had a definite job to do in efficiently demonstrating who we are and how we do what we do. But it’s baked into our DNA to make things pretty, fun and entertaining. And our website reflects this, we think. Nice thing is, so do the nice people at the W3 Awards, who gave us a few nice nods…
Website Marketing: Gold
Home Page Design: Gold
Website Visual Appeal: Silver
We’re not the kind of people to hang our hats on our trophy case, but still… It feels good. Nice work, everyone! And particularly to Creative Director Peter Grimaldi and his team.
See the winners’ gallery to view some great work from all entrants. Very humbling stuff indeed!
