Iconic eighties brand Gant Rugger unveiled their latest marketing campaign titled “Team Americano” turning traditional blogger outreach on its head. The fashion line, which was re-launched in 2010 under the creative direction of Christopher Bastin, features a handful of New York fashion bloggers as their actual models.

NEWS: Isabelle Marcoux becoming chair of Transcontinental
We learned today in a memo from Rémi Marcoux, founder of Transcontinental, that he will be stepping down as executive chair of Transcontinental’s board of directors. While he will remain on the board, the 71-year old wishes to, as he said in a media release, “slow my pace and spend more time on other activities.”

WIZARDS OF OZZIE
The Oscar nominations weren’t the only awards news this week. Totem won big Tuesday night at the Eddie & Ozzie Awards. They’re the industry’s biggest and most prestigious contest celebrating the best in magazine editorial and design excellence. We took home three award, including two silver and a gold.
